The OVA will be based on the Narumi Seo character map story event that was featured in the smartphone game in April 2018. Seo, who has a unique memory disorder, will appear alongside other heroes of the Seo Research Laboratory in the OVA.

The new anime will tell an original story, featuring a match between the Hyoutei Academy Secondary Department led by Keigo Atobe and Rikkai University-Affiliated Middle School led by Seiichi Yukimura. The story was previously not depicted in the manga, it takes place after the U-17 World Cup.

Episode 1: Shiraishi becomes the captain of Shitenhoji Tennis Club. In order to maintain the club, the members have to invite a new member. They try to attract Zaizen's attention by showing him jokes but Zaizen passes them off.

Episode 2: Ryoma is told Seigaku's seven ghost stories by Momoshiro. They are quite common stories but the third grade members leave the club room in a hurry. Fuji says "It's time to confide this to you." and he begins to tell what he experienced two years ago.

Two short specials included in both DVD Volumes of Tennis no Ouji-sama OVA ANOTHER STORY II: Ano Toki no Bokura.

"Toukou Tamashii" is about a social media viral video war between Eiji, Horio, and Shiraishi as they compete for the most views on videos of their friends' talents.

"Bunta no Mezame" is about Yagyuu, Yanagi, and Niou secretly following Bunta at his mysterious meet-up with a regular from another school.

Seigaku travels to England to play a tournament representing Japan but they are attacked by a group of street tennis players who were banned from playing official tournaments because of their rough play.

An OVA series covering the past and the future of the regulars that participated in the National Tournament.

Volume 1 features two episodes, one starts with an episode featuring Seigaku visiting Osaka for a practice match with Shitenhouji, and an episode featuring Atobe's start at Hyoutei in his first year.

Volume 2 also features two episodes, one starts with the second part of Seigaku's visit to Osaka, and an episode on Kirihara's start at Rikkai in his first year.

Two short chibi character specials included in both volumes of Tennis no Ouji-sama OVA ANOTHER STORY: Kako to Mirai no Message.

The specials feature the Oshitari cousins in a Manzai (漫才) setup [a style of stand-up comedy in Japan, which usually involves two performers—a straight man (tsukkomi) and a funny man (boke)].

"Aruhi no Oshitari" involves Oshitari Yuushi who is tired of being the tsukkomi and wants to try his hand at being a boke but with disastrous results.

"Aruhi no Oshitari 2" is about Oshitari Kenya in the role of a boke whose jokes didn't get through to the audience in a joint comedy show with Seigaku and Shitenhouji.

These chibi character flash animation specials were released with the Fan Disc "The Time Comes Around Remix".
